Read Off Label collects only what is needed to operate the site, understand broad usage, and send the newsletter. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Newsletter signup

Newsletter forms are embedded from Beehiiv. When you submit a form, the email address and any information requested inside that form go to Beehiiv so the newsletter can be delivered and subscription preferences can be managed. Beehiiv may also receive general source and campaign labels, such as that a signup came from the quiz. We do not attach individual quiz answers, selected health goals, or result names to those labels.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing admin@readofflabel.com.

Quiz answers and soft gates

Quiz matching happens in your browser. Answers are kept in session storage so a reload in the same tab can resume the quiz; they are not placed in the page URL and are cleared when that browser session ends or you clear site data. The site uses local storage to remember that a soft signup prompt was dismissed in that browser. The continue button does not ask for an email, verify newsletter membership, or send data to our server.

Analytics and hosting

Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate site use, such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate region, and browser or device type. Google may use cookies or similar browser identifiers for this purpose. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process routine request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and security events. These providers handle information under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can block analytics or third-party scripts with browser controls, clear this site's local and session storage, and unsubscribe from email at any time. Blocking the Beehiiv embed will prevent newsletter signup through the site but will not block the evidence pages.
