SLU-PP-332
Metabolic Health · ERR (estrogen-related receptor) agonist / exercise mimetic
Tier D
Bottom line
Read Off Label grades SLU-PP-332 as D (3.3/10) based on preclinical evidence, unknown in humans benefit magnitude, and a unclear-risk safety profile.
The 'exercise in a pill' compound from the Burris lab (Saint Louis University).
Studied, labeled, or reported-use context: No established human dose; illicit injectable/oral use circulating — Not approved; research chemical / gray-market peptide-vendor sales; no approved human indication; not individualized guidance.
What the evidence says
The 'exercise in a pill' compound from the Burris lab (Saint Louis University). SLU-PP-332 and its successors activate ERR to mimic endurance-exercise adaptations; in mice they raised running capacity ~50%, cut fat mass and improved metabolic syndrome. As of 2026 there are NO human trials — all data is mouse/cell, and improved analogs are still being optimized toward the clinic (Pelagos Pharmaceuticals). Despite that, it is already sold by gray-market peptide vendors and used by biohackers. No human safety or efficacy evidence is available.
Mechanism
Pan-ERR (alpha/beta/gamma) agonist that switches on the transcriptional program normally triggered by endurance exercise — boosting mitochondrial biogenesis, fat oxidation and aerobic capacity in mice
Studied, labeled, or reported dose & route
No established human dose; illicit injectable/oral use circulating
This records doses and routes described in studies, approved labeling, clinical practice, or documented use. It is not individualized guidance and does not establish safety; context changes with indication, formulation, health history, monitoring, and other medicines.
