GHK-Cu (copper peptide)
Longevity · Peptide
Tier B+
What this is
Discovered by Pickart in 1973. Pickart's research: normalizes gene expression in aged skin back toward youthful pattern. Strong evidence topically; much weaker for systemic/injected use despite popularity in peptide communities.
Mechanism
Copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-histidyl-lysine); stimulates collagen/elastin/GAG synthesis in fibroblasts; modulates ~4000 genes toward younger expression profile; declines with age
Dose & route
1-2% topical cream/serum; 1-2 mg SC injection for 30 days cycled
