ITP: significant male mouse lifespan extension at multiple doses; no female effect (Strong 2016). Unique in separating metabolic benefits of estrogens from feminization. Harrison lab ongoing work. Very limited human data.
Mechanism
Stereoisomer of 17β-estradiol with minimal ERα binding; non-feminizing; activates mTORC2 (not mTORC1); improves metabolic markers in males
